Checking Dashboard Dimensions in Chrome or Microsoft Edge

To verify or adjust the display dimensions of your First Arriving dashboard in a web browser, you can use the built-in browser developer tools.

How to Access Dimensions

  1. Open your dashboard in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
  2. Press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the developer tools in Inspect Element mode.
  3. Click the Toggle Device Toolbar icon (looks like a phone/tablet outline) at the top of the developer tools panel, or press Ctrl + Shift + M once DevTools is open.
  4. A dimensions bar will appear at the top of the browser viewport where you can view and set a custom width and height.

Recommended Dimensions

The standard recommended resolution for First Arriving dashboards displayed in a web browser is:

1920 x 1080

Setting the browser to these dimensions ensures the dashboard renders correctly and matches the expected layout for a standard 1080p display.

Notes

  • This method works in both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
  • These browser developer tools are for previewing and verifying layout only — they do not change the resolution of a physical display or device.
  • For physical device setup and hardware display options, refer to the Hardware Setup Guides & Display Options section of the knowledge base.
